About

The North Middlesex Historical Society owns and operates the Donald Hughes Annex Museum as well as Trinity Chapel Marg & Leroy Walker Research Room.

The museum features an eclectic mix of local and sometimes not so local artifacts. The displays change on a regular basis, so visit often!

The research room houses all of our archives, and provides anyone the opportunity to research the history of North Middlesex. Please contact us for inquiries.

The North Middlesex Wall of Fame is located at the Donald Hughes Annex!

Our Story

Our Mission

The purpose of this society is to help to preserve the past of the area comprising North Middlesex, namely the former Municipalities of Ailsa Craig, Parkhill, East and West Williams and McGillivray. We do so in a thoughtful and organized way to ensure that future generations of this area will understand their heritage in order to facilitate an appreciation of the present.

We will preserve our history in the form of a museum in the former Ailsa Craig Baptist Church, 159 George St., Ailsa Craig as well as research room & archives in the former Trinity Anglican Church at 158 Church St., Ailsa Craig.

This organization is strictly non-profit and all monies gained will be used to preserve and maintain our assets.
