The purpose of this society is to help to preserve the past of the area comprising North Middlesex, namely the former Municipalities of Ailsa Craig, Parkhill, East and West Williams and McGillivray in a thoughtful and organized way to insure that future generations of this area will understand their heritage in order to facilitate an appreciation of the present. We will preserve our history in the form of a museum in the former Ailsa Craig Baptist Church, 159 George St., Ailsa Craig as well as  research room in the former Trinity Anglican Church at 158 Church St., Ailsa Craig. This organization will be strictly non-profit and all monies gained will be used to preserve and maintain our assets.
