Volunteer With Us!

Does working with artifacts interest you?
Would you be interested in helping with research?
Maybe you are a handy person?
Would writing stories for social media be of interest?

The North Middlesex Historical Society is always in need of volunteers and has plenty of opportunities available throughout the year! 
 

Volunteers may be tasked with:​

  • Operating the museum during open hours (Opening/closing, give tours)

  • Assisting with events (planning, preparation, clean-up)

  • Assisting in the curation of museum exhibits

  • Helping to accession and maintain the Historical Society's collection

 

The museum is open for 3-4 hours during the week on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays and we are looking for volunteers to fill these slots, as well as potentially open for other days.

 

The North Middlesex Historical Society is run entirely by dedicated volunteers. Without them, the museum would be unable to operate. If you think you can help us in any way, please contact us at northmiddlesexhs@gmail.com.
