Deadline: All nominations must be submitted by July 1st of the year in which the induction is to occur.

Induction Ceremony: Inductions will take place annually in November, following the North Middlesex Historical Society’s Annual General Meeting.

Eligibility:

Nominees may be living or deceased.

Nominees must have made a significant contribution to the community of North Middlesex.

Nominees must be, or have been, a resident of North Middlesex at some point in their lives.

Canadian citizenship is not required, nor is current residency in North Middlesex.

Our Mission
The mission of the North Middlesex Hall of Fame is to recognize those people who, in the opinion of the nominees and the selection committee, have made a significant contribution to the community, either locally, nationally or internationally, in such a way as to have brought honour to, or made this community and/or the larger world a better place to live. Nominees may be living or deceased and need not be a Canadian citizen.
Selection Guidelines

The committee may induct up to five individuals per year.

Inductions are not mandatory annually; some years may see no new inductees.

The North Middlesex Historical Society reserves the right to nominate and induct individuals without external nomination, up to a maximum of five in any given year.

Not all nominees will be selected; final decisions rest solely with the Selection Committee.

The Society does not tolerate discrimination. Nominations will be considered regardless of age, gender, race, sexual orientation, or physical ability.
Nomination Requirements

Nominations must be submitted using the official nomination form.

All submissions must include:

A typed statement (maximum two single-spaced pages) detailing the nominee’s accomplishments and rationale for induction.

Up to three additional pages of supporting documentation (for a total submission not exceeding five pages).

All required information as outlined in the nomination form.

Additional Considerations
As the Hall of Fame is housed on North Middlesex Historical Society property, the Society may request a donation of artifacts relevant to the inductee, to support the preservation and promotion of their legacy.
